A full endoscopy tower with flexible and rigid scopes across three families: gastrointestinal, respiratory (including feline rhinoscopy) and urinary.

Upper GI endoscopy — beyond the stomach

Foreign-body retrieval is baseline. What sets us apart is going further: through the pylorus into the duodenum and, when needed, into the proximal jejunum for targeted biopsy of lesions many clinics never reach.

• Gastroscopy with targeted biopsy — gastritis, ulcers, gastric masses
• Duodenoscopy through the pylorus — full duodenal survey and biopsy
• Jejunoscopy to the proximal jejunum when indicated
• Foreign-body retrieval with grasper, snare or net via the working channel

When deep small-intestinal endoscopy changes the answer

In chronic small-bowel disease, stomach-only biopsies often miss the diagnosis. Reaching duodenum and jejunum lets us sample the tissue that is actually driving the signs.

• Chronic vomiting or regurgitation that fails first-line care
• Chronic small-bowel diarrhea and weight loss
• Protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) with low albumin
• Distinguishing IBD from small-cell alimentary lymphoma
• Occult GI bleeding, iron deficiency or unexplained melena
• Suspected duodenal / proximal-jejunal mass on imaging
• Staging GI lymphoma or multi-system disease involving intestine

Respiratory endoscopy

Bronchoscopy for chronic cough, and feline rhinoscopy for chronic nasal discharge, sneezing, congestion or suspected nasal mass — direct visualization and targeted sampling. Few hospitals in Thailand offer this combination.

Urinary endoscopy

Urethrocystoscopy in selected dogs with recurrent UTI, hematuria, ectopic ureter or suspected bladder mass. Suitability depends on patient size and indication.

Foreign-body retrieval — endoscopy first when safe

For many ingested objects — toys, bones, cloth, string, plastic — endoscopic retrieval avoids open surgery. We weigh object type, shape, size, location, duration and perforation risk before choosing endoscopy or surgery.

Full tower, multiple scope sizes

Matching scope size to the case matters. Small scopes reach airways and some urethras; larger scopes give better GI images and a wider working channel. Our tower has both flexible and rigid options.

Preparation and recovery — what owners should know

Endoscopy is performed under general anesthesia or deep sedation with full monitoring. Most procedures use natural orifices, so there is no surgical incision, and many patients go home the same day.

• Exam, bloodwork and imaging as indicated before the procedure
• Fasting protocols — longer for colonoscopy
• Anesthesia planned by the same team that performs the procedure
• Biopsy / cytology / lavage samples when indicated
• Same-day recovery for most cases, with images and a next-step plan
